TCS Now Offers "Sealed" Windows XP Systems!

Being a “Microsoft OEM” business partner TCS is utilizing tools provided by our Microsoft relationship to “reseal” your installation of Windows XP Professional. This means that your 30 day activation period begins the first time you turn on your system instead of the activation period starting when TCS first installs the software. No longer will the first few days of your activation period be used to test your system, install software and ship it to you.

The benefit of this to you the customer is when you go to resell the system(s) you purchased, or stock them for future use, you or your customer will never again turn on the system and have to activate it before you can log in to your desktop.

All new customers will receive their XP systems "resealed" and if you are an existing customer who wants to try out this new "resealing" process contact your Sales Engineer and they will assist you directly with this change.

Did you Know??

That SATA or "Serial - ATA" stands for " Serial Advanced Technology Attachment"?

SATA is the next generation of interconnects for hard drives and CD/DVD drives, replacing the classic "ribbon cable" style Parallel ATA (PATA) interconnects. The new SATA cables are roughly a third of the width of the PATA, and can be more than twice as long. Also the SATA can transfer data at a rate of 150 Mbytes / second while the maximum sustainable transfer rate of PATA is 100 Mbytes / second.

TCS is currently offering many products with SATA connectors onboard so you can take advantage of this faster, thinner, longer, and more robust connection.

"Pentium M SBC’s"

TCS offers a variety of Pentium M based single board computers for your low power / high performance needs. The Pentium M CPU coupled with the power saving Intel 855 or 852 mobile chipsets offers a Single Board Computer (SBC) solution that can deliver great performance for your demanding applications as well as the power saving benefits found in many of today’s laptops. The highest performing Pentium M was designed to operate at roughly 25 Watts of power dissipation; by comparison the high-end Pentium 4’s dissipate anywhere from 80 to 100 Watts of power. Benchmarks show that the Pentium M can provide comparable performance scores in all areas, except media encoding, while maintaining cooler temperatures and using less power.

Shown below are a few of TCS's new offerings of industrial Pentium M boards. Click on any of the pictures to be taken to the product specifications page
